VIM-95 is designed for operation with VOR radio beacons of short-range navigation systems and radio beacons of ILS and SP-50 instrument landing systems.
VIM-95 provides azimuth information to VOR beacons, information about decline from VOR azimuth set value during the flight “TO” and “FROM” VOR beacon, information about decline from heading line and glide path decline during СП-50 and ILS landing in digital and analog form, and also information on marker beacon indicators.
VIM-95 has branching built-in test equipment enabling to check airborne receiver's operability onboard the aircraft.
VIM-95 is controlled by digital signals from aircraft computer system (“automatic operation” mode) as well as by control board (“manual operation” mode).
The equipment has the Appliance design approval (N СГКИ 110-70 VIМ-95).
VIM-95 meets the requirements of the following documents: IСАО, ARINC-429, ARINC -710-10, ARINC -711-10, НЛГС-3, АП.
