SO-2010 – panel-mounted address transponder of ATC 2 ES type. The transponder supports standard (ELS) and enhanced surveillance (EHS) in mode S as per EUROCONTROL standards.
SO-2010 is designed and suitable for:
- non-selective and selective (mode S) radiodetectors of national and international secondary radars systems for ATC service according to ГОСТ 21800-89 and ICAO Annex 10;
- ADS-B 1090ES system as onboard transmitter of B0 class;
- Onboard identification equipment;
- Helicopters and small aircrafts operating at absolute altitude up to 4570 m.
The transponder has interfaces for information reception via ARINC 429, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 standard, for a pulse time marker reception via ARINC 743A-4.
The transponder operation modes are controlled from the unit front panel.
The transponder status is shown on the display on the unit front panel.
SO-2010 transponder version compatible with night vision goggles is available.
Transponder SO-2010 includes unit SO-2010 and the switching device.
Airplanes and helicopters equipped by SO-2010 transponder: Ka-226 helicopters of various modifications, Mi-8MTV, Mi-8AMTSh-VA, Mi-171A2, «Ansat» helicopters, Yak-152, L-410, DA-42, and also UAV.
SO-2010 has the Appliance design approval № СГКИ-113-283-СО-2010.
